Have you kept in touch with your “Secret Primo”? This fun activity will continue if there is enough interest. I would like to suggest that unless a person is willing to be conscientious and parents are willing to help their youngsters do not draw a name.

Larry Maestas had volunteered to organize an Easter Egg Hunt and games. Larry, let us know if there is anything you need for us to do or provide, eg., prizes

Calendars were not sent. This activity needs to be reevaluated.
Please bring genealogy information.
The committee to discuss the possible location for future reunions has not met. At this time I will say the 2001 Reunion will be held at Los Alamitos.

Golf Tournament: Friday July 13.

Ideas for reunion (from Aug.’99 Newsletter and previous reunions)
  • We will have assigned, posted lists for cooking and clean up.
  • We will work on having a specific wash area for both dishes and hands.
  • Work on a new area for juice/water/drinks that is easier for all to reach.
  • Safety rules will be posted.

Have other ideas and suggestions ready for general meeting.
Parents supervise children at mealtime and at “drink” table. Keep waste to a minimum.

We have to face another possibility, that due to the drought conditions in the past we may be unable to meet in the mountains. Hopefully by May we will know the conditions and if there are any Forrest Service restrictions. Any ideas for change of location if it becomes necessary?
At present we have people that are coordinating some of the activities listed above and if they are kind enough to continue we appreciate and welcome their dedication.
What have I omitted? Jot it down and let me know with your RSVP.
One last thing, I need your favorite saying, dicho, quote, etc. Send with your RSVP, I need about 150!
Love to all, ‘till we meet again. Ta and Carlos
